I went to Texas!
Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Styled Shoot Across America photoshoot in Houston, Texas at Iron Manner. As a photographer and creative, I was thrilled to be a part of such a talented and diverse group of artists. During my time in Houston, I had the chance to explore the city and experience some of the best food, shopping, and parks it has to offer. If you're looking for a delicious and unique dining experience in Houston, look no further than The Rustic. This popular restaurant is known for its farm-to-table cuisine, live music, and laid-back atmosphere.Located in the heart of downtown Houston, The Rustic features a beautiful outdoor patio, complete with string lights, wooden tables, and a cozy fireplace. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the perfect place to unwind after a long day. I had a frozen rose and it was SO good!
One of the highlights of my trip was eating at Torchy's Tacos, a local hotspot known for its delicious and creative tacos. You can order a taco and "make it trashy" which just means add extra cheese. Super yummy! Another favorite spot was the Velvet Rabbit, a another taco places with yummy queso and strong margaritas! I love a good frozen margarita and there's was one of the best.
Of course, no trip to Houston would be complete without a little shopping. I explored also explored The Galleria because that's where we were staying. It has some good stores, like Golden Goose, Zara, and of course the luxury high end stores as well.
When we weren't eating or shopping, we spent time exploring some of Houston's beautiful parks. One of my favorites was the water wall! It was so cool to see.
Overall, my trip to Houston was an unforgettable experience filled with delicious food, beautiful parks, and amazing creative energy. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of the Styled Shoot Across America photoshoot and can't wait to see what future adventures await. I will definitely be back next year!
